Login background image
I was just wondering where the login background image resides (?). I'd like to change it to another of the Windows blue images.

I ended up changing the background to this one and also changed the start button but keeping with the Windows theme of course.

I also wanted to try an animated gif as a background image and found that it would work by editing the main.css file to replace bg.jpg with bg.gif. I tried a cople of gif's and found them interesting. I wish I cold figure out how to move the login box and frame box up some instead of having them centered. Must play more..........

I think you simply need to edit the file /usr/share/lightdm-webkit/themes/kumander/index.html. And perhaps - as you said - the CSS file.
That's one thing I like about the webkit2 login system. It is pretty easy and straight forward to work with. And, of course, AFAIK it's the only login system with that gorgeous Windows 7 login screen.
I really hope I can find a way to make it work with Debian 12. Hopefully I can manage to compile it myself.
